  24. Delete the settings in the Envarc:Sys/ drawer. The prefs editors in 3.1
  25. will load older config files, but they can't be edited properly.

  27. The only settings that you should have to delete are:

  29.     Envarc:Sys/palette.prefs
  30.     Envarc:Sys/pointer.prefs
  31.  
  32. Don't confuse these settings with any "custom" settings that might be
  33. saved in your Envarc: directory.

  35. If these files are missing when you invoke the 3.1 palette and pointer
  36. editors, you won't have any more trouble.
